Special Forces deployed after man allegedly points gun at another

Following a search, police found two firearms in two vehicles occupied by the men. Earlier today, an assistant chief superintendent in Akureyri told mbl.is only that police had reason to suspect there was a firearm in the vehicles and decided to take action accordingly.
A chief inspector with the Northeast Iceland Police has confirmed that officers received a report yesterday of a man allegedly pointing a firearm at another man.
