Heavy rain eases, but the risk of landslides persists in the Eastfjords

The Icelandic Meteorological Office has received no reports of landslides in East Iceland overnight. Yesterday, however, several minor slides occurred in stream channels in Seyðisfjörður, Norðfjörður, Eskifjörður, and Fáskrúðsfjörður.
